I am pleased to present you another of PLUS Interior Design’s renovation project. This featured project is located at Bayshore Park Condominium and as usual, this will be a live update! This renovation is currently the biggest and most extensive that our blog has ever featured. I will be introducing to you about this project by showing all the documentations.
Original floor plan
This triangular shape condominium unit is huge. It will need tremendous effort for the ID to plan, design and organise the renovation works. I can assured you that this is a project that only the really experienced (many years in the industry with 100s of project experiences) and well organised (an important characteristic of an ID) IDs can handle.
Proposed floor plan
Proposed layout is important in determining what and where are the major works to be carried out. In addition to that, it is also very helpful for furnitures shopping as all the measurement can be determined.
Ceiling/lighting plan
This plan basically tells you the lighting location and number of lights. There are really many lights in this house! I wonder how many switches are there? Phew!
Schedule
This are all the works involved together with planned date. For those people who try to do their own coordination and renovate their own home, please take a good look at the schedule. It is not just about getting some contractors and ask them to work one at a time. There are many times where the same contractor, example electrician, will have to be at site at different dates to complete their work. This is why you are paying good money for a ID to solve not just about all the coordination headache but ensuring workmanship and functionality of the end product as well.
3D Perspectives
Living Room
Kitchen
Study & gaming room
For those who are first time reading my blog, 3D perspectives are important in a renovation work. It helps you visualised your colour combination rather than using your own imagination (which is usually not what you will expect it to turn out). If your house involved a lot of carpentry works, please insisted that perspectives are provided by your ID.
Quotation
Thats a really long list of work to be done! I am having a headache just looking at those words!
