Prive @ Punggol Condominium by Spatial + Co

In my previous post, I talked about Spatial + Co‘s 4 room HDB renovation project. However, those pictures are provided by them. Therefore I am unable to assess their quality and finishing. In order to have a better assessment, I personally went up to one of their project site, which is at Prive @ Punggol Condominium to look at their renovation works.

This project at Prive @ Punggol Condominium consists three pieces of carpentry works in living room: TV feature wall with console, cushion bench at dining table and a big shoe cabinet. I always believe that pictures say a thousand words. I shall let the pictures below do the talking.

The TV feature wall with console is made with solid plywood (which is the industry standard for carpentry) with laminate finishing. The internal of the carpentry uses colour PVC rather than white PVC. Colour PVC carpentry is usually more expensive than the normal white PVC carpentry by about 20% to 30%. For most homeowners who want to save money, you can use white PVC for your internal carpentry. White PVC is also the norm if nothing is mentioned in the quotation from a Interior Designer. If you want your carpentry to be nicer and you have some spare cash, colour PVC is the choice.

I have shown a picture of the work in progress for the bench. In that picture, the basement of the bench is made in such a way that it can be used as a storage. In this way, the bench has became a dual function bench, creating more storage space.

The shoe cabinet is also made with solid plywood with laminates and colour PVC for the internal.

Review

After going a couple of times to this project site, I must say the carpentry work is very well done. Therefore, I am happy to include Spatial + Co into my panel of preferred Interior Designers. I will also be featuring more of their latest renovation projects which I hope will prove to all my readers that they are a trustworthy Interior Design Company with quality finishing and design.

Hi Keith, I really love to tell you how much it cost. However, there are some trade secrets involved which I am unable to tell you. Sometime prices also determine the quality of the carpentry. Good carpenters usually charge higher prices. However, I can give you a range. TV feature wall with console: $1500-$3000, Shoe cabinet: $3000-$5000 and the dining table bench: $2000-$3500.
